Kinsley's Story

Kinsley is a medium-size 6½-year-old Terrier mix weighing 26 pounds who has been patiently waiting for her forever home since February 2025, after being returned from a previous adoption. She has been in foster care since August 2025.

This sweet girl originally came to us as a stray and was completely shut down when she first arrived. With time, patience, and kindness, she slowly learned to trust and began showing her true personality.

Kinsley is still shy and timid with most people, so any potential adopters will need to be willing to visit her multiple times and let her move at her own pace. She bonds much more easily with women than men, and a home with only female humans would truly be her dream.

Once Kinsley trusts you, she is an incredible companion—affectionate, playful, and full of charm. She loves toys, enjoys romping around with her favorite people, and is just as happy snoozing under a desk or curled up in a lap for most of the day. And when the zoomies hit, Kinsley doesn’t run laps… she hops like a gazelle, guaranteed to make you smile.

Kinsley will need a home without other pets, and any children should be older.

She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative, Lyme negative, and more than ready for the patient, loving home she has been waiting so long for. 🐾
