Kingston's Story

Meet Kingston! He's a 10 lb Chihuahua mix, about 4 years old. Kingston's two favorite things in life seem to be walks and cuddling. He is brave and headstrong on walks. More timid with people, so older kids would be best, but warms up very quickly with gentle reassurance. He likes to start his day with a walk and wasn't phased by 3 mile hikes but did enjoy a good nap afterwards. Once the sun goes down he seems more content to snooze in your lap for hours. He did well with the dogs he met and was quite flirty. He rode great in the car - either laying in the seat or sitting on the center console to see better. Kingston is incredibly charming and everyone that met him fell in love. He might do best in a home where he isn't left alone much- he wants to stay near you, preferably on your lap or even your chest; personal space is overrated to him. Kingston is a marker so a belly band is a must until that behavior can be trained out of him. He was recently neutered so that might help. <br/>Kingston is currently in a foster home with several other small and medium size dogs.
