King is a 2 year old 57-pound bundle of sweetness with a big heart and an even bigger love for people! He’s a medium-energy guy who enjoys being active, playing, exploring outside, sun bathing and drinking from the hose and—of course—snuggling up with his humans on the couch.<br/><br/>King loves meeting people and other dogs. He’s playful and genuinely enjoys canine company, although he can sometimes get a little too excited when another dog doesn’t want to play. He’s learning to read those social cues and give his friends space when they ask for it. He can also get very excited when meeting new people, so he’s working with a trainer on keeping all four paws on the floor and learning how to calmly say hello.<br/><br/>He has met a 14-year-old girl and was wonderfully gentle with her, politely getting her attention before immediately snuggling into her lap.<br/><br/>King is house trained, crate trained, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. He’s also working hard on his leash skills and making great progress. He is food motivated and takes treats very gently, which makes training him even more fun.<br/><br/>Whether you want an adventure buddy for walks and activities or a giant cuddle bug to relax with at the end of the day, King is happy to join you. He’s adventurous, athletic, playful, funny, food motivated, and incredibly snuggly. He still enjoys his toys and loves any attention his people are willing to give him.<br/><br/>Most of all, King is just a giant lover and happy guy who wants to be part of a family and share all that sweetness.
