Meet King

Meet King! King was originally surrendered to CCHS back in April of this year. This handsome, playful guy has had the misfortune of being adopted out and surrendered back twice. First, was due to being fearful of the male owner’s deep voice. The second, he was surrendered due to conflicts with another dog in the home that was not disclosed until post-adoption. With both of these occurrences, we learned even more about this active guy! For instance, we learned that King would do better as the only pet in the home! He would also benefit from a female owner who has experience with Huskies as a breed. He is a phenomenal dog, he just needs someone who is willing to meet him where he is at! Due to coming in with very minimal training and packed with anxiety at 10 months old, King was not given a proper chance to learn how to be a dog without stress and anxiety constantly surrounding him. King is now over a year old and weighs about 64lbs. Don’t miss out on such a cool guy! Apply for King today!

Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response.

The adoption fee is $250. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS.
