King's Story

Meet King!

King is an 8-year-old mixed-breed sweetheart who has truly lived up to his name—he’s a survivor. His past was heartbreaking: abused by a former owner, abandoned in an empty house where he had to chew through a wall to find food, and even ejected from a car accident that left him fearful of rides. But despite it all, King’s spirit shines. He’s a happy, affectionate boy who adores being near people and other pets.

King loves head scratches, pets, and being told what a good boy he is. He’s house-trained, sleeps peacefully in a kennel at night, and is always excited for time with his people. He can be strong on leash (especially when a squirrel crosses his path!) and has some “counter-surfing” tendencies, but with patience and training, he’ll continue to blossom.

King gets along well with other dogs and previously lived with cats. He also does fine with kids, though he has no concept of personal space and might jump up to say hello.

A few things to know about King:

+ Car rides make him nervous, so a crate is best for travel
+ Loves other dogs, cats, and people of all ages
+ Needs a fenced yard or supervised outdoor time
+ Enjoys baths, is fine with grooming, but would prefer you leave his paws alone
+ Active, playful, and still thinks he’s a lap dog

King’s previous family loved him deeply, but due to health challenges, they couldn’t continue his care. Now, he’s safe at Imagine FURever Ranch and ready to find his forever family—one that will give him the patience, love, and stability he’s always deserved.

Could you be the one to give King the happily-ever-after he’s been waiting for?

Apply to Adopt King Today! https://bit.ly/AdoptIFR
