Meet Kind Karen
This sweet little sato girl is looking for her forever home! Karen is a 17lb, 3 year old Shiba Inu mix from Puerto Rico. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She is the sweetest, most loving dog and she deserves the kindest, most wonderful home??
Karen is a fabulous dog in so many ways. She loves to cuddle, yet is totally content hanging on her own. She is crate trained and fully housebroken. She shows no signs of separation anxiety or resource guarding with toys, bones, or food. Karen has some fears of other dogs from her time growing up on the streets in Puerto Rico, and so she would prefer to be the only pet in her new home. She bonds very quickly to women and would do best with a female as her primary caretaker, but can love any men patient enough to build a trusting relationship with her. She can become nervous when startled awake, so she would do best in a home without young children.
Karen's foster mom in Melville, NY says she is one of the easiest, most well behaved dogs she's ever met. She doesn’t beg at the table, she walks nicely on leash, and she loves bringing the ball back to fetch again. Karen loves her walks, but is also very content to hang on her dog bed and chew on a bone.

Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses, Karen :))
