She spent her early days confined to a cage with little interaction, the result of an unwanted litter between a German Shepherd and a Labrador mix. But thanks to being rescued, Kimmy is now discovering the world—and she’s ready to find a patient, loving family to share it with.<br/><br/>Despite her limited early socialization, Kimmy’s gentle and curious nature shines through. She’s currently thriving in a foster home with two cats and a variety of other foster dogs - some for a day or two and some for a week or two. She got along well with all of them, including sharing her toys. While she may be a bit hesitant when meeting new people, she warms up with kindness and patience, showing just how much she wants to connect.<br/><br/>Kimmy has discovered the joys of play—playing tug of war with her foster parents or with other dogs, chasing after balls, and finding hidden objects. She loves to race around the yard, especially with visiting dogs, and loves to go on walks. She’s showing signs of being energetic and agile, making her a great candidate for runs, hikes, or even agility training once she gains more confidence.<br/><br/>This sweet girl will blossom with an adopter who can give her time, patience, and love.
