Meet Kimchi!<br/><br/>Kimchi is a 6 year old female chihuahua in need of a forever home. She is black and weighs about eleven pounds. Her larger-than-life ears will steal your heart!<br/><br/>Kimchi is great with new faces, and loves meeting people. She loves everyone she meets. Kimchi is a wonderful companion and bonds very easily and quickly to those who show her kindness. She is happy and content just being in your presence. Given her love for people, it would be great for her to go to a home with someone who is retired, works from home, or at least does hybrid work and isnt gone all of the time. <br/><br/>She seems to be powered by kisses- giving her repeated kisses on the head sometimes gives her the zoomies! Her favorite activities are snuggling under a blanket on the couch (either alone or with her person), lounging in the sun, and getting under the covers in bed after a long day. She is sweet and calm and absolutely a lover at heart. The only time her foster family has seen her bark was when she got excited by another dog on a walk. She has done well with meeting other small dogs and tolerates cats. She hasnt been tested with big dogs or kids and cannot be sure how she would react, but given her gentle and loving nature, its possible that she would do okay with both. She does get growly if another dog surprises her or gets too close when shes lounging under a blanket.<br/><br/>Kimchi is leash trained. She likes walks, but when she sees other dogs while on walks she has a tendency to pull and wants to play with those dogs. Kimchi seems to do fine in a crate for several hours when her foster family has to leave. One bad habit Kimchi does have is that she has a tendency to mark when she encounters new smells in the house. <br/><br/>Kimchi is fully vetted and up to date on vaccinations. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Kimchis adoption donation is $300.<br/><br/>If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.<br/><br/>Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
