Kimber's Story
Kimber is a 5 year old German Shepherd who's available for adoption.

Before considering adding Kimber to your family, please note that KPAL Rescue has a mandatory adoption process in place which includes a background check and a home visit. More information on our adoption process can be found in our pinned post, please read that (and this adoption post) in their entirety - our process cannot be waived. We do not ship our animals and we do not allow for third-party transportation.

Kimber loves to have a job and is a great companion when you are working outside. Toys are her favorite thing, frisbees and balls. She gets excited with new people and greeting you when you return home. She is good around older children (has not been around younger children). She has not really been socialized or had much exposure to other dogs. She currently lives on 5 acres, has lived with chickens and a rabbit (has never met cats). She stays on the property and will run off four-legged or flying interlopers but will return when you call her. She will walk on a leash and is house- and kennel-trained. She can stay in the house alone loose with no issues (doesn't need a kennel). Kimber has not been allowed on furniture and likes her dog bed but I'm sure she would agree to a change in the rules!

If you're interested in adopting Kimber, our adoption process is outlined in our pinned post and on our website: www.kpalrescue.org/pet-adoption/. Our Adoption Application can also be found on that website.

KPAL Rescue dogs are fully vetted (vaccinated, microchipped, etc.) and spayed/neutered, there will be an adoption fee of $350 + tax so that we can continue to help other animals in need. As always, donations are also very appreciated. Serious inquires only, please, and feel free to share.

#kpalrescue

.

.

.

#animalrescue #rescue #alaskananimalrescue #alaskarescue #alaskaanimalrescue #animallovers #nonprofitorganization #kenaipeninsula #kenai #soldotna #adoptme #adoptabledog #rescuedog #dogsofalaska #alaskadog #dogsofthekenaipeninsula #rescuedogs #takemehome
