KIMBA is an extra special 4 year old, male, German Shephard mix, 80lbs in weight. He is very social with people and loves affection. He just wants to be included in whatever is going on. KIMBA has had a tough past. He was moved from place to place with a previous rescue that abandoned him in boarding for years. He has been looking for a forever home since he was 9 months old but was lost in the system due to his previous rescue. So he has gone 3 years without stability of a home.<br/><br/>KIMBA knows how to walk in heel. He enjoys crate time so much that we have to close the door to the house when he goes potty, or else he will quickly return to his cozy bed in his crate. Kimba is such a good boy. He lets you trim his nails, no problem, and does well in public settings. He loves affection and companionship. KIMBA will let you dress him up! He needs a home with a strong owner that will give him stability with a routine. Without a routine, KIMBA will be a bit bratty and see what he can get away with.<br/><br/>Because of his difficult past, we believe KIMBA will do best as the only dog with his future family. We think he has the capability to have doggy friends, but not in the same home. His training cues are sit, down, shake, stay, place, heel, and out. He is a fast learner and eager to please. KIMBA has been extremely receptive to his training, and will bring love and joy to his forever home. He is a wonderful dog who deserves a wonderful family.
