Kiki's Story

Hi! My name is Kiki! I'm a friendly & outgoing female beagle. I used to be used for breeding. But my owners retired me & gave me to Nittany Beagle Rescue! I used to live in a barn. But I'm in a foster home now & I LOVE it! I LOVE attention! I like to talk & whine! LOL I'm used to living with other dogs - but I don't really care about playing with them. I'm working on housetraining in my foster home. I slept all night & didn't have any accidents on my 1st night in a home! (We did get up at 5am though to be on the safe side). I'm food crazy - I admit it! So it's best to feed me separately from other animals. I'm pretty overweight & need a home where you can help me lose weight. I'm used to being around children of all ages on the farm where I lived. I'm up-to-date on vaccines & will be spayed before I'm adopted. I also may need hernia surgery - we'll see what the vet says after I get a good exam. Please think about making me part of your family though. I was born on 3/15/2017 - so I would love to be in my forever home before my 9th birthday! More photos of me are coming soon! PA Kennel License #4068

Nittany Beagle Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog & Nittany Beagle Rescue! We are a foster-home based rescue. We hold showings on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Lyons Kennels in Bellefonte, PA from 11am - 1pm. You can meet some of our dogs then! Please email or send a PM on our FB page if you want to know if a particular dog will be at the showing. If you are interested in a particular dog, or a type of dog, please submit an application to foster or adopt (it's the same application form). Once you have an approved application for a dog, we will connect you with the dog's foster parent. Typically the potential adopter & foster talk on the telephone first. Then if the dog seems like a good fit, we arrange a personal meet & greet. To download an application form, please go to (or copy & paste the link into your browser): https://www.nittanybeaglerescue.org/adopt.cfm For a full listing of our events, please go the Events page of our website: https://www.nittanybeaglerescue.org/events.cfm No same day adoptions.
