Kidda's Story
Meet Kidda!

Kidda is a striking and intelligent young active dog with an impressive mix of Siberian Husky, Australian Cattle Dog, Akita, and Border Collie - a combination that makes her athletic, driven, and incredibly smart. She's a true adventure companion who thrives in an active, engaged lifestyle.

Kidda is a high-energy, enthusiastic girl who loves to run, jump, dig, and play. She's an excellent jumper and would do best with a family that enjoys staying active and providing regular outlets for both physical exercise and mental stimulation. After a full day of activity, she's also very affectionate and enjoys settling in for quality cuddle time with her people.

Because of her natural instincts, Kidda does have a prey drive and has herding tendencies, so she would be best suited for a home without small animals such as birds or rabbits. A kid-free home or household with older dog-savvy children may also be best for this girl.

She's currently living in a foster home with three male dogs and generally does well, though she can become a bit over-enthusiastic during play - especially when toys or balls are involved. Kidda tends to want all the fun for herself, so she would likely thrive as an only dog or possibly with one calm, well-matched canine companion. She truly enjoys being the center of attention.

Kidda is a working-breed dog who needs a "job" to feel fulfilled. Training, enrichment activities, hiking, agility, and structured play are all excellent ways to help her succeed. When under-stimulated, she can become anxious or mischievous, so a committed adopter who enjoys ongoing training and confidence-building will be key to her success.

A few highlights about Kidda:
-Fully potty trained
-Walks well on leash
-Great in the car
-Kennel trained (though continued work on confidence is encouraged)
-Loves people and affection

Kidda is looking for an experienced, active home that understands working breeds and is excited to help her channel her energy in positive, rewarding ways. In return, she offers loyalty, intelligence, affection, and a whole lot of personality. If you're ready for a devoted, adventurous companion who will keep life exciting - and cozy - Kidda just might be your perfect match.

Could you be this pup's lucky new hero?

PupFax: Kidda
Adoption Status: Available for Immediate Adoption!
Medical Status: Cleared and Ready for Home!
Location: Sandy, OR
Rescue Intake Type: Rehome/Oregon

At-a-Glance Stats -

Age: 1 year 3 months (approximate)

Breed: Heeler/Husky/Border Collie - Mixed breed

Size: Medium

Weight: 40 pounds (Approx. last weigh-in)

Sex: Female

Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Vaccinations: Yes

Microchipped: Yes

Personality & Temperament: Confident/Intelligent

Energy level: High

Home & Lifestyle Fit - Active

People: Good

Dogs: Good (depends on the other dogs)

Cats: Unknown at this time - not recommended due to prey drive

Activity Level: Playful/High Energy

Ideal Home: Active, People who are around more often

Training & Manners -

House/Potty Trained: Yes

Crate Trained: Yes

Leash Skills: Yes

Commands Known: Unknown at this time

Food/Treat Motivation:

Health Notes -

Overall Health: Good/Pending wellness exam

Known Medical Needs: N/A

(All known medical and behavioral information is disclosed prior to adoption.)

What this pup Is looking For:

What We Know & Why We Love Them (foster/volunteer/staff feedback):
