Kevin

Kevin is the most incredibly happy puppy. He is a Standard Poodle. Kevin had an accident when he was only six weeks old and unfortunately had to have his right eye removed. His breeder decided it would be in his best interest to surrender Kevin to rescue so that he could get the best care possible. Because he lost sight in his eye when he was so young he doesn't know any different and does just fine with one eye. <br/><br/>Kevin is very intelligent and wants to please his human. He loves to go on walks and hikes and play. He gets along with his foster dog siblings and would love to have another playful dog in his new home. His can be a little shy in new situations and will need continuing work atound loud sounds.<br/><br/>He is very well behaved and super smart. He has already learned to sit, lay down and come. He is doing great with potty training and does not have accidents in the house as long as he is let out regularly. He sleeps in his crate at night and only fusses if he needs to go out. <br/><br/>Kevin is very intelligent and responds to commands and corrections more quickly than most puppies. He will need lots of exercise and mental stimulation, Poodles are incredibly intelligent dogs and do not do well if just left to be bored. They also require regular professional grooming (every 6-8 weeks). Please research this in your area as it can be expensive and often groomers are booked or not accepting new clients.
