*Kevel*TO DIE 9/9

PLEASE HELP US SAVE KEVEL!!! HE HAS 48 HOURS TO LIVE. IF WE DON'T SECURE A FOSTER HOME OR A FOREVER HOME BY THIS THURS SEPT 9TH HIS LIFE WILL BE TAKEN; ( PLEASE DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN!!! <br/><br/>Kevel is a beautiful 2 year old rare Fawn/Blue Brindle with an outstanding temperament!!! He’s a solid boy, weighing approx 65 pounds with an impressive posture. He may look tough because some cruel and inhumane person (probably the same person that abandoned him at a high kill shelter) kitchen cropped (which means chopped his ears off; no vet and usually no anesthetics, just a big knife, an itty bitty pup and a lot of pain…) but he’s a big mush. His family left him to die at a high kill shelter in an inner city where the chances of getting out are minimal to none. They claimed they were moving at couldn’t take him with them. The only information they left to help the shelter place him is that he loves all people including children and that he’s housebroken (not much; certainly not enough to safe his life). Kevel is a product of this economy, no doubt and a humane flaw, lack of commitment to life. Now Kevel sits on death row. How Kevel must miss his family; ( Despite the stress of being without them and of sitting in a concrete run day in and ay out awaiting an angel Kevel has done outstanding. The shelter loves him!!! They have extended his stay (double the usual time given) but can not extend it further due to space and resource limitations. Kevel will die this Thur, Sept 9th; ( PLEASE HELP US SAVE HIM!!! OPEN YOUR HEART AND HOME TO A RESCUE DOG IN URGENT NEED!!!<br/><br/>Look what the volunteers have had to say:<br/><br/>A volunteer wrote: At 63lb, it seems like a lot of this weight comes from Kevel's massive head, made doubly cute because of his deep sienna-brown eyes. But looks aren't everything, and here's where Kevel shines: he got a Mild on his behavior test, and on the leash, he is perfectly tranquil, wagging his tail when other dogs passed close by us on the sidewalk, and generally seeming just interested in exploring the smells of the outdoors.
