Keva

Keva is a 4 year old spayed female who is still quite the puppy! She hasn't been with the rescue very long, but has fast become used to our routine. She will need consistent care and discipline, but we are quite sure that she would adapt to living in an dog experienced household! <br/><br/>She knows the commands sit, good girl and easy. She does fairly well on a leash, and we will continue to work with her on leash training now that the weather is getting better. She arrived with an older male Saint Bernard named Cletus, but he is not ready for placement at this time due to some health issues and he isn't neutered. We haven't had a chance to test her with smaller dogs or cats as of yet, but will be doing so in the near future.<br/><br/>Our rescue requires a fenced in yard, home visit and Veterinary references for past/present animals in your household. <br/><br/>She came to us having her Rabies vaccine in January and received her other vaccines including a 12 month Pro-heart (heartworm prevention) shot in mid February. So, she would not require Veterinary care until January 2027 barring any other issues.
