She also has a drive to chase outdoor critters - squirrels and rabbits are very exciting - which means she can pull hard on leash. Don't let her petite size fool you: this girl is small but mighty, and she needs a confident, steady adult handler who can manage her strength and help her stay focused.<br/><br/>Ketchup would really love a fenced yard to enjoy with her people! <br/><br/> Crate Habits<br/><br/>Ketchup is kennel trained in the sense that she can sleep through the night and stay crated when needed - but she strongly dislikes going into the crate. She needs slow, positive guidance to enter it, and rushing the process can cause her to escalate. A patient adopter willing to continue positive-association training will help her feel safer and more confident.<br/><br/> What She's Great At<br/><br/>Despite those needs, Ketchup is an absolute gem of a dog in a home environment:<br/> Fully potty trained - zero accidents in foster<br/> Sleeps through the night (couch, or your bed, crate with steady routine)<br/> Gentle and snuggly with older kids<br/> Excellent inside the home and can be left uncrated without issues<br/> Knows "sit" and "lay down" and is learning new tricks<br/> Loves fetch, walks, treats, and catching Cheerios mid-air<br/> Playful and curious, with a quiet, loving personality<br/><br/>She may also do well with a dog-savvy cat after proper introductions - her foster's cat tolerates her, and they've even shared the sofa! <br/><br/> Why You'll Love Her<br/><br/>Ketchup is sweet, silly, loyal, and full of heart.
