Kermit's Story

Kermit is a 60 pound one-year -old black mouth cur mix and was an owner surrender due to no fault of his own. While he embraces his high energy & playful personality outside in the yard, he can just as easily maintain a very calm and relaxed demeanor inside the house. Kermit takes direction very well and is always looking to his human counterpart for affection and instruction. He is working on his leash manners, but after his initial excitement he does very well on walks. Kermit is good with other dogs but does play with intensity. Playmates for Kermit need to be of similar size and have a similar tenacity when playing. Kermit would be best suited in a home with a large, fenced in yard where he can have the opportunity to burn off his energy daily by running and playing. He also craves human interaction and needs to be able to spend lots of time indoors close to his family too. If you have room in your heart and home for him, please go to http://www.crestwoodanimalshelter.com to fill out an application and schedule a time to meet him.
