Kenzie's Story

Kenzie is a sweet girl who quickly bonded with her foster family. She is crate trained and sleeping through the night. Kenzie is a special needs dog with a significant visual impairment. Because of this, she may bump into things when learning her surroundings, and care needs to be taken to make sure that stairs are secure so that she does not fall. She learned the floor plan at her foster's home within a few days, and really uses her senses of smell and sound. She has learned to go up some short flights of stairs, but is still working on down and needs to be carried for now. She loves other dogs and kids but is still a puppy with puppy behaviors such as trying to nibble fingers. She will bark at unknown sounds but settles with some reassuring pets. She gets very excited when she realizes her people have come home!
