Kenny (Neutered)

Kenny is a handsome 4-year old male Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix who was brought to the HSOV on July 23, 2024 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden along with Kenny's female companion (Tabatha) who is most likely his sister.<br/><br/>Kenny has a white short smooth coat with a black patch at the base of his long tail. Kenny has a beautifully-marked face with a black spot on the top of his head, a black 'pirate's patch' around his left eye, a black button nose on his chubby muzzle, and large black/white spotted ears that he sometimes holds semi-erect. <br/><br/>This good-looking boy was a joy to photograph when HSOV Kennel Tech Cadince Bibbee spent time with him for outdoor pictures on July 26, 2024. Kenny has a charming personality and was quick to demonstrate how he could 'sit pretty' (smile). Kenny was a pushover for attention from Cadince.<br/><br/>Kenny weighs 59 lbs and walked fairly well on a leash for Cadince.<br/><br/>Kenny and Tabatha had an unfortunate incident which placed them on a 10-day bite quarantine when they were brought to our shelter. They have 'done their time' and have been great 'guests' in our shelter. Their owner decided to surrender them to our shelter, so they are now looking for a new home.<br/><br/>Kenny will be neutered before being adopted by his new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized).<br/><br/>Update: Kenny was neutered on January 13, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine.
