He is currently being fostered in San Antonio, TX, and can transport out of state once matched with an approved adopter through rescue-arranged transport.<br/><br/>Kenny has a moderate energy level and loves to play, especially with other dogs of all sizes. He is very social and recognizes when another dog is ready to stop playing, though he does best in a home where toys, bones, and treats are managed since he can be a bit possessive of his treasures.<br/><br/>This handsome boy has been around children of all ages and does wonderfully with them. He’s cuddly, affectionate, and enjoys being part of the family. Kenny hasn’t been cat-tested yet, but he loves meeting new people—he can be a little shy and anxious at first, but quickly warms up and shows his gentle, sweet side.<br/><br/>Kenny walks beautifully on leash, rides calmly in the car, and has no issues with stairs. He is crate trained and does well when crated for a few hours.<br/><br/>Playful, silly, and smart, Kenny loves toys and one-on-one attention from his people. He doesn’t need another dog in the home to be happy, but he will thrive with an adopter who can give him structure, positive reinforcement, and plenty of love. His ideal home is one that understands his toy-guarding tendencies and is willing to continue guiding him with patience.<br/><br/>Kenny is more than just a rescue dog—he is a loyal, loving companion in the making.
