She likes all people including children. We are recommending children of the age 10+ because of her size. She might knock someone down. She needs to be an only dog as she is Queen of the castle. She knows: sit, wait, come, heal(working on it), crate & house trained. She loves to ride in the car and will easily jump in when a door is open.<br/><br/>Further obedience training is recommended to bond with her and reinforce the basics with her. She likes to play ball but not obsessed with a ball. She is quiet and a great dog to have as a companion for someone who enjoys a German Shepherd. She is on the bigger size at about 36" at the shoulder and weighing around 81#. Her coat is a beautiful black/tan in color and it shines. <br/><br/>Kenna does have prey drive so it is recommended that there not be any cats in the home. She will require a 6' fenced yard to be chosen as her FUR-EVER home. She is a beauty that can't wait to meet you.<br/><br/>As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. <br/><br/>We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
