Meet Kelsey, a gentle and quiet soul who is looking for her forever couch! This lovely lady is friendly and loyal, and will be a wonderful addition to any family. With a calm and collected nature, Kelsey is the perfect companion for those seeking a relaxed and loving home. Kelsey is an easy-going girl who will bring a peaceful presence to your home. Come and meet this beautiful dog today and give her the loving home she deserves! She does well in her foster home with the other dogs. Basics: She is a 5 yr old spayed female that weighs close to 10lbs. She is currently in a foster home in Kansas City, MO with a 7 yr old boy and 5 other small dogs. Adoption fee is $460 and covers spay, vaccines, fecal + giardia test, de-wormer and microchip Our Adoption Process: - Please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application - One of our team members will get back to you via phone. - Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding - Adoption fee helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip. -We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available. About Us: Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit. Since 2015 we have been dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland and the Kansas City area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Kansas City and NW Indiana areas. We also partner with other rescues and shelters in IN, IL, KS and MO that are willing to help southern pets in need. We rely on donations to help fund our ongoing transports.
