Kelly Labrador Retriever & Dalmatian Mix New Braunfels, TX

Kelly is an absolutely ADORABLE little Lab/Dalmatian girl! She has the sweetest smile, and is full of love and snuggles. She loves running & playing with other dogs and is intrigued by small critters like cats. She likes to chase them. Kelly was brought into shelter when she was 5 months old and we can’t believe no one has snatched her up yet. She’s just a year old so she’s still got a lot of puppy in her. She gets super excited and jumpy but she settles down quick and loves her plushies and squeaky toys. She knows “NO!” and stops in her tracks when she hears that word. Her foster family has only had her a short while but we can see she is extremely intelligent and eager to learn and please her people. She’s very skinny right now, 39 lbs. We think she should be at least 50lbs, but she's not too big, just about knee high so she’s not overwhelming to children.
Kelly will be a wonderful addition to any family. She is UTD on her shots and spayed. We are working with her on a leash, with basic commands and supervised playtime outside with the other animals and inside with the family. She is content to lay at our feet when we are working in the home office or watching TV. She has just started the process of crate training and is still in an adjustment period but we feel once she settles in she will catch on quickly. She is so young she hasn’t developed any bad habits yet that we have seen. Come meet Kelly and you will be head over heels in puppy love! Kelly is being fostered in New Braunfels.
