Keke's Story

Meet Keke! Silly, funny, happy, playful and snuggly. That’s Keke in a nutshell.

This little girl came from a hoarding situation where she clearly never left the house or got to meet people, but she loves all dogs, and once she gets to know you, likes nothing better than to nap on your lap. She’s also happy to “help” you do yoga.

She is now house trained, uses a doggy door, and is fine being crated (just give her a peanut butter Kong and she’s happy). What she doesn’t want is to go for walks or car rides. She runs when she sees a leash.

Keke has thrived in her foster home, getting used to the occasional visitor and playing with toys and her doggy house mates. She’s has plenty of energy in between naps, and has no problem running up the stairs or jumping up on the couch. She is 10lbs and 8 years old and she is ready to live her best life.

She needs a home with another nice dog who might play a little and let her snuggle (the 14 month old pit bull in the home is her favorite playmate, but she also likes to wrestle with the other little dog and loves the Great Pyrenees mix), a fenced yard she can go right out to, and a calm environment with not a lot of visitors. Give her those things, and a little space to get comfortable, and she will live and entertain you for years to come.

Keke is just cuteness personified and is guaranteed to make you smile. Don’t you need more smiles in your life?

Keke is being fostered in Austin, TX and is adoptable throughout Central TX.
