Meet Keith 🐾 Keith is the sweetest, most loving dog who has so much affection to give. He absolutely loves squeaky toys, enjoys playtime, and is a big fan of snuggling up with his people. He’s great on walks and truly enjoys getting out and exploring. Keith does best in a home with older children. He gets along very well with other dogs and would do great with a canine companion. However, he does not like cats. Keith is crate trained and does very well going into his crate when asked. He knows basic commands like sit and stay, and a trainer has recommended that he be crated when food is out. His food aggression is inconsistent and not constant. He loves running around the backyard and would thrive in a home that can give him structure, love, and continued guidance. Keith is a wonderful dog who just needs the right environment to shine. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion and can provide a home with older kids and no cats, Keith could be the perfect match. At Home Free Animal Rescue, our goal is to make adopting a rescue dog as simple as possible. All are temporarily housed in private foster homes, so many are already housebroken or well on the way, some are crate trained, and many are working on leash-walking and basic obedience. Our foster families are also alert to our pets' behaviors and needs so that we are better able to fit pet to adopter based on personality and requirements. When looking to adopt a new friend through HFAR, please be sure to let us know what's important to you, so that we can help place the perfect pet in your home. Our fees are based on the costs incurred in rescuing each animal on an individual basis,
