She takes a while to trust, but is loyal to her people once she does. <br/><br/>Keira is fearful of people and does not easily trust. She can be skittish and is a flight risk if not contained properly. She will build trust with her people after a period of time spent together and trust building, but she is not a ‘people’ dog with new people. She is definitely a dog's dog. She prefers to be with her dog friends and spends her days out in a play yard with 5-7 other dogs. <br/><br/>Keira will need a home that understands and is ok with the fact she is not a super lovey dog that will want human attention all the time. <br/><br/>Keira will do best in an adult only home that is patient in building her trust and ok with her being aloof and doing her own thing at times. She is well mannered and does great hanging out in a fenced yard with her dog friends. She is super active and loves to run around in her current large play yard with other dogs. <br/><br/>Keira will thrive in a home with a large fenced yard outside of the city. She is not an apartment/condo/townhome dog. Keira requires at least one other dog around her size in the home, and herding breed experience. She would thrive in a more rural setting with a large fenced yard. <br/><br/>Keira is UTD on shots, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
