Keesha's Story
$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! Keesha spent almost a year at the Humane Society before coming to our rescue. She was so happy to have more space to run and explore. This big love bug is soooo ready for a family to call her own. She really enjoys being around other dogs, but sometimes likes to be in charge, so she would best be partnered with a more submissive medium or large size dog. Her two best fur friends have been males. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t get along with females. That’s just what we’ve learned about her so far. Also - the reason we say medium or large size fur siblings - Keesha just gets so darn excited around her people! She’s just not too mindful of her surroundings, so I’d worry that she might accidentally hurt a small dog. And watch out for her kisses - they can be a bit wet. You know how they say Pitties are big love bugs? Yeah, that’s Keesha. She’s such a sweetheart and we are blessed to have her be part of our rescue! This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway.
