Keenan's Story
Keenan brings so much joy to Thrive Animal Rescue! He's slow to warm up, but those who have been patient enough to make it in his circle are rewarded with a friend for life. Once he gets to know you, he'll offer a gentle paw for pets, happily show off his tricks, and even show off his goofy side. <br/><br/>He is a beautiful 3yo male, weighing around 22lbs of love. We think he might be a Spaniel x Papillion mix. <br/><br/>He came to us from a not so great situation, but he has come so far. He's ready for a home that he can settle down in and feel safe - he would love to be your new best friend.<br/><br/>Keenan would do best in his forever home with someone who lives in a relatively quiet and low traffic home/neighborhood, and with kids 15+ (or no kids). He would love an adopter who can offer him patience and kindness as he starts to learn that the world is not so scary. He would do well either as the only dog in a home to soak up all the love and attention, or with a very calm and neutral additional doggie friend. ♥
