Meet Keena!<br/><br/>Keena is the absolute sweetest hound girl who wants to be included in everything! She is affectionate, fun-loving, and happiest when she’s part of the family.<br/><br/>She loves her walks and is working hard on her leash manners. She also does well with other dogs and has a great habit of removing herself from situations she doesn’t enjoy rather than getting into arguments.<br/><br/>As a typical hound, Keena has a little mischievous streak! She enjoys counter surfing, so we’re working on that, too. She is also an impressive escape artist and has made it her mission to find every weak spot in a fence. Her crate needs clips to keep it secure, and we’ve been working on e-collar training using tone only, which has been going very well. She doesn’t tend to wander far and will come toward people rather than run away, but a secure yard and some extra supervision will be important for her future family.<br/><br/>Keena hasn’t been tested with young children yet, so we can’t say for certain how she’ll do, but based on her easygoing personality and tendency to walk away when she’s uncomfortable, we’re hopeful she’ll do well.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy hound who wants to be your constant companion—and you’re willing to keep working on her manners and her creative escape plans—Keena might just be your girl!
