Ruff Day Rescue's Adoption Policy
The adopter will fill out the application and be screened by a member of our team. Once screened we require a home visit and/ or a video visit. We then check references including family and vet references. Once they are approved for adoption, then the adopter signs a contract. Dog is turned over to the new family and then we check in with them continuously over the next couple of weeks.

Additionally, we strive to help with community education, outreach, spay/ neuter/ vaccination support and more to reduce the amount of adoptable dogs that end up in shelters to begin with.
