I’m mastering all things puppy! I get so excited playing, that I can’t control my happiness and have to spend a few minutes zooming around. I’m working hard on potty training, and love when I get to be outside in the yard. My favorite things are bones, tennis balls, and sticks! I can’t get enough playtime with my furry foster siblings either. But my favorite thing is to be able to curl up in cozy blankets with my head resting on my human at night. Did someone say couch time?! I can be a tad bit shy when I first meet someone, but once I get a few pets and know I’m safe, I’ll be in your lap and kissing your face. I know that I’m going to grow up to be a great dog. If you would like to meet me, please fill out a pre-adoption application, and a CDR volunteer will get back to you as soon as they can! Until then, sending all the puppy kisses your way! I am working hard at learning all my important home life skills so I can be the very best new member of the family! Sweet puppy kisses and warm cuddles-Kayda **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525, which includes getting the puppy up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.

Our Mission

Chicagoland Dog Rescue (CDR) brought a few people together who had been doing rescue work on their own. Our common goal is to rescue dogs that suffer at the hands of cruel or ignorant owners, owner give-aways, or those that are homeless. We are a small group of volunteers who work full time jobs and try to help as many dogs...
