Katy had a rough start in life but is looking to become a loyal companion. She is approximately 32 lbs. Katy is timid and shy but slowly warms up to people. She is very playful and gets along great with other dogs. She is a bit prey-driven so NO CATS. Katy will need a fenced yard (not invisible fence) and someone who will keep her busy! She currently lives with two other dogs and is having a blast playing tug-o-war and chase! She does very well in a crate and is house trained. With lots of love and patience, Katy will make a wonderful companion! Katy will do best in a home without young children.<br/>(A $300 adoption donation is required.) We do home and reference checks.<br/><br/>FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! We are always looking for good foster homes. Our rescue is foster based and we can always save more dogs if we have foster homes for them to go into. It is not a long term commitment. We have been able to find good forever homes in a short time. We also welcome volunteers who can help transport dogs and help with our outreach and fund raising efforts.
