Katy's Story

Katy is a sweet gal with a big heart! She gets super excited to see you once she has had a chance to warm up to you. She's very curious as well!<br/><br/>Her foster says "Katy is the most perfect angel ever! She has been nothing but sweet, kind, and cuddly!! Katy loves to play outside, meet new people, and watch movies while curled up on the couch. Katy is fully house trained and has not had a single accident while in our care. She loves to socialize, whether thats meeting new friends, running errands, or going to Starbucks to get a pup cup!"<br/><br/>**This animal has some facial drooping that may indicate some nerve damage. The cause of this is unknown at this time. It could be due to a previous injury or infection that has resolved. This condition will need to be monitored by the adopter's veterinarian post-adoption. Katy also has a dermal mass on her right hind leg. Diagnostics at the shelter suggest this may be a cyst that does not appear to be a concern at this time; however, if it gets larger over time or causes a problem, it may need to be removed and submitted for a biopsy to rule out other types of masses (including cancer) with adopter's veterinarian post-adoption.
