Meet Kato! <br/><br/>Kato is a 9-year-old mixed breed weighing about 60 lbs, and he's still settling in as one of our newer arrivals <br/><br/>Right now, Kato is a bit timid and taking life one step at a time while he learns to trust his new caretakers and surroundings. Big transitions can be overwhelming, especially for senior dogs, so we're giving him the patience, space, and support he needs to decompress and feel safe. <br/><br/>Even though he's still adjusting, Kato has already shown us some wonderful qualities. He walks beautifully on a leash and is making progress with socialization every day. We've also learned that he does well with other dogs, though he is not a good fit for homes with cats.<br/><br/>As Kato gains confidence, we're excited to continue watching his personality unfold.
