Katie is a beautiful 3-year-old red and white Cattle Dog who is spayed and ready to find a loving home.<br/><br/>Katie has been through an incredibly difficult experience. She was found alone in her home after her owner had passed away, and it's easy to imagine how frightened and confused she must have been. Despite her heartbreaking past, Katie is a sweet soul with so much love to give.<br/><br/>She can be cautious when meeting new people, but with patience and time, she warms up and forms strong bonds. We also learned that she was wonderful with the neighborhood children while living with her previous owner.<br/><br/>Katie is an active girl who loves to run, so she will need a securely fenced yard or to always be walked on a leash, as she is known to take off if given the opportunity. She is also house-trained, making the transition into her new home a little easier.<br/><br/>Katie is looking for a patient, understanding family who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved again.
