Meet Katie

Hi, my name is Katie! I am approximately 2 years old. I arrived here as a stray. I weigh a healthy 43 lbs.

I'm a sweet, outgoing, active girl. I enjoy my walks on leash and playing with toys. I have a high prey drive and will chase cats and small animals, so would do best in a home with no felines or poultry. I'm a smart girl who would excel with some training, I'm incredibly food motivated. I'd be great at a "job" - like agility or nosework. I am happy to greet every human I meet!

I like some dogs but am not fans of others. I may be best as an only dog, or with another dog who is an older, calm male.

I am spayed, up to date on my DAPP and rabies vaccines, and micro-chipped too!

My adoption fee is $150 (+ $20 county dog license, if residing within Jefferson County). Staff takes applications for all the dogs here to find us homes that suit our individual needs.
