Katie's Story

Meet Katie - she wants start off by telling you that she does have both ears - one just likes to flop and the other is perky enough for both of them! Katie was found on the streets of South Texas crossing a busy road - she was in horrible condition: malnourished, mangy, and covered in fleas and ticks (scroll for before photo). A good Samaritan grabbed her and she has been the sweetest girl from day 1 - her rescuer says that it truly seems like Katie is thankful and appreciate of being rescued. Since her full recovery, Katie is motto is to have the best time - she loves playing with all of her best dog friends (which is pretty much any dog she meets), SWIMMING, and playing toss with her favorite toys (she fetches like a champ!). Katie is still getting more confident on a leash, but is naturally very eager to please and a fast learner. She absolutely loves to make new friends and is a social butterfly with people and dogs alike!
