Kati is around 2 years old and weighs 29 pounds. We are hosting a weekend long adoption event. Our partner, MoCo Mutts Rescue is bringing 20 puppies and dogs of different ages for you to meet. There are males and females, different mixed breeds, all have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to find their forever family. Meet and greets are required with family members, especially your four legged ones. Saturday 2/21/26 - 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and Sunday 2/22/26 - 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Adoption fees are cash only.

We are a first come, first to adopt shelter. If you plan to come meet one of our adoptable dogs, we suggest that all family members come along, including the four legged ones.

Our Mission

The Geauga County Dog Shelter takes in stray dogs throughout Geauga County. By law we have to hold a dog three business days - or 72 hrs - before we are able to adopt them into new loving homes.
