Kate

This is Kate, a big beautiful bundle of love. She just turned 4 months old and at 40 pounds is destined to be a large girl of approximately 70-90 pounds. She seems to think she can remain a lapdog for life! She is extremely affectionate and is full of puppy energy, but is doing well learning house manners. Kate is potty trained. She does not always bark or whine at the door but sits patiently or paces the door to go out. She doesn't seem to be much of a barker but she will cry to come in. She is crate trained (although she does not really like the crate or being restricted). Kate sleeps well through the night between 6-8 hours. She has learned "sit", "come", and "outside". We are working on "stay", "off" and walking on a leash. She likes to play with other dogs and has been raised with three other large dogs. She loves to play with our Great Pyrenees and they fast became buddies. Kate is still very young so she will need a home where she is not crated or restricted for long periods of time to continue her socialization. As with any young pup, a training class is recommended for both Katie and her master while her age grows into her body. She is a very people oriented animal who likes to be wherever you are and will make a great companion.
