Kate

Kate is learning that the world can be a pretty wonderful place when you have someone by your side.

At 2 years old and 16 pounds, this sweet Beagle girl is still taking her time getting to know everything around her. Kate came from a difficult hoarding situation, so she is learning that she is safe, loved and surrounded by people who want the very best for her.

One of Kate's favorite things is laying in the grass and simply enjoying the moment. She doesn't need much to be happy, just a peaceful spot, some fresh air and the chance to take everything in at her own pace.

Kate is good with kids and other dogs and is working on her leash skills as she continues to discover this new world. With patience, encouragement and a little time, she is learning more every day.

Kate may need someone who understands that trust isn't built overnight, but once she realizes she is safe, she has so much sweetness to give. She deserves a forever home where she can continue growing in confidence and discovering just how good life can be.

If you're looking for a gentle girl who just needs a little time, patience and love to blossom, Kate is waiting for someone to show her that her best days are still ahead.

Kate is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

**Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application.
