She is officially in search of a permanent address of her own where she can hang her leash forever! Kassie has been spayed, vetted, microchipped, and has received a clean bill of health from our vet. The last box to check off is to find a family of her very own. Please read on for her story, and for instructions on how to request an application for her!<br/><br/>Here is what we know about KASSIE:<br/><br/>- Kassie is @ 15 weeks old now, and weighs about 22lbs. We think she will be on the medium to large side when full grown, likely 60lbs+ or so. <br/><br/>- Kassie's breed mashup is a unique one - we know mom is a chocolate lab, but dad was a sweet talking casanova who left town without a trace! Our best guess based on this girl's size, disposition, and intelligence is a shepherd mix of some sort, but she likely has quite a few other breeds mixed in there to make her as specular as she is! <br/><br/>- Kassie is a happy, healthy, and rambunctious pup who will need a family up to the fun challenges of puppyhood! Her foster family reports that she is very smart and picking up on training quickly. She is already both potty trained and crate trained, this girl is ready to go! <br/><br/>- Despite her intelligence and fast learning, Kassie is still is very much still a puppy so she will need lots of training and reinforcements to learn proper doggy manners and behavior when she gets to her forever home. Kassie loves to play fetch, loves to ride in the car, loves her gnawing bones, and even knows her name already! Genius girl! <br/><br/>- Kassie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health.<br/><br/>- Kassie currently lives happily in her foster home with dogs and gets along just fine with them. We think she would do fine as an only dog, but she would love a playmate who could handle some puppy playtime!<br/><br/>- There are also cats in Kassie's foster home, and she co-habits well with them. Any dog savvy cats who wouldn't be scared of her size or puppy antics should be fine! <br/><br/>- Kassie would make a great family dog for kids 5+. She has sharp puppy teeth, so kids old enough to understand rambunctious puppy chewing and playing would be a plus. She would love to have kiddos to romp around with! <br/><br/>- Kassie loves her fenced in yard at foster mom's, and she would love to have a nice yard in her new home as well. She is an active and playful gal who is excited to go on any many adventures as possible! <br/><br/>What we love about Kassie: This lady pup is so well rounded and will fit right in!
