This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. <br/>-I am a graduate of Waifs with Wisdom. In this program, I learned basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. <br/>-My previous owner said that I am house-trained.<br/>-Chews, Kong-like feeders, puzzle toys—help to keep me entertained!<br/>- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. I’m a 1-year-old Alaskan Husky with a love for adventure, toys, and brain games. <br/><br/>I can be a little aloof when meeting new people, so I’ll need some time and patience to warm up. But once I know you’re part of my circle, you’ll see my fun, affectionate, and playful side shine. I love exploring new places, playing with my favorite toys, and romping around with my doggie friends. I also find a lot of comfort in my toys and the people I trust.<br/><br/>I’m a smart girl who enjoys keeping her brain busy, whether that’s learning new things through training, solving enrichment puzzles, or staying engaged in an active home. I’m housetrained too, but like any pup settling into a new place, I’ll need some time to adjust. So I ask that you’re patient with me as I take my time to get used to my new environment. <br/><br/>Because I have a few specific needs, I’m looking for just the right match. I’ll need to meet the whole family, including any resident dogs, before going home, and I’d do best in a home without cats. Felines are much too interesting to me, so it’s best we don’t share a space. It’s also recommended I don’t live in a shared space like an apartment or condo... I really like using my voice, I’m a husky after all! <br/><br/>My breed comes with a lot of energy and drive, so I’m looking for someone who’s either familiar with Alaskan Huskies or has done their homework. If you lead an active lifestyle and are looking for a smart, independent companion with a heart full of potential, I’d love to meet you. <br/><br/>Love, Karma
