KangaRoo Labrador Retriever & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Vancouver, WA

Hey there! I'm KangaRoo but all my friends call me Roo so you can too. I'm currently living with my foster mom (Mrs. Alex) and her 2 fur babies that are my best friends. I do love playing with them but sometimes it's hard to keep up so I'm hoping my forever home has play mates that are closer to my age or 2 legged babies that want to love on me. I would also be happy as an only child so I can have all the love and attention. My favorite things include all toys, short to medium walks, car rides, and playing with other dogs. Mrs. Alex also got me a pink jacket with my name on it (you can see it in my photos) and I love wearing it on colder days as my fur doesn't keep me vary warm in the winter.

I've never met a cat but Mrs. Alex thinks I'd be good in a house with one because I mind my own business and just want to relax with my pack.

KangaRoo's story:
Roo was found at a CrossFit gym near a busy highway when we rescued her. She is very sweet with people of all ages and followed Alex and her two dogs around all day. After taking her to the vet, we discovered that she has hip dysplasia and was being shot with BB gun pellets, as one is stuck under her skin. Her hip dysplasia is currently being managed with anti-inflammatories and keeping her on the lighter side of her weight range. She does favor her left side but nothing seams to slow her down. Roo is nothing but sweet and loving despite her tragic back story and deserves someone that will love her as much as she will love you.
