Meet Kane.<br/><br/>Kane is a one-year-old Pitsky (Pit Bull/Husky mix) who appears to have been assembled using equal parts dog, kangaroo and Tigger.<br/><br/>This boy has springs for feet.<br/><br/>Kane LOVES to be airborne. Not necessarily going anywhere or trying to get anything — apparently having all four feet on the ground at the same time is just a little too ordinary for him. He bounces straight up in the air with an impressive amount of enthusiasm, and watching him do it is absolutely comical. Think Tigger, but with a Pit Bull/Husky body.<br/><br/>And honestly, after the life he’s had, we’re happy to see him bouncing.<br/><br/>Kane was removed from a drug house and then spent almost a year living in a cage at a boarding facility. At only a year old, he has already spent far too much of his life confined. Now he needs someone willing to show him what being someone’s dog is actually supposed to feel like.<br/><br/>Kane is neutered, up to date on his vaccines and great with cats, provided the cats aren’t interested in beating him up. He loves female dogs and enjoys playing with other dogs, although “playing” in Kane language is closer to WWE. He needs a dog who appreciates a good wrestle and isn’t offended by his enthusiasm.<br/><br/>He would do best with older children.<br/><br/>Kane can be shy with strangers. He’s not the guy who meets you and immediately declares you his best friend. He likes to check you out first, think about it, conduct a small background investigation and then decide whether you’ve earned membership in the Kane Club.<br/><br/>Once you’re in, you’re in.<br/><br/>He’s extremely food motivated, loves being outside and is funny, goofy, energetic and just a little ridiculous.<br/><br/>What Kane needs now is patience, structure, exercise and someone who appreciates a dog who occasionally chooses air travel over walking.<br/><br/>After spending most of his young life behind bars, Kane is more than ready to bounce his way into a home of his own.
