Meet Kan! This gorgeous Lab mix absolutely adores a good game of fetch and treasures his toys. He's wonderful on a leash and greets new people with a friendly, open heart. Kan is a true survivor with a joyful spirit--come meet him and see for yourself! He was rescued in heartbreaking condition, severely underweight and neglected. With plenty of love and care, he has blossomed into an affectionate, playful pup who's ready for his forever home!!

Wet Noses Rescue's Adoption Policy

First, adopters must fill out our online application at wetnosesrescue.org. If approved, there is a phone interview and virtual home check. We are a shelter based in Punta de Mita, Mexico, and also operate in San Diego. We understand that it can be challenging to meet our animals in person due to the distance. However, we have a process in place to ensure a smooth adoption experience. Most of our animals are located at our shelter in Punta de Mita. We frequently arrange transportation for our animals up the West Coast of the USA (San Francisco, Seattle, etc.) and the Western Provinces of Canada (Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, etc.). To help you get a better sense of the animals, we can offer additional photos, videos, and even schedule video calls. Please see our Google Reviews (https://goo.gl/maps/aDbyG4vW9YWNTs4d7) for some of our adoptive families' experiences. We are a volunteer run organization, and a flight angel would accompany them. This area is a touristy area, and many people like to volunteer in various ways to support the community, and especially support the neglected animals finding good homes. To secure flights, it generally takes us between 1-4 weeks once an animal is ready to go home.
