Introducing Kalyana, a courageous soul seeking love and comfort in his senior care situation. <br/><br/>Kalyana was rescued from animal control one year ago, very frail & weak. We thought we would give him a few good months, thinking he would not make it another year. Well, a year has passed, and he is doing great (for an old boy). <br/><br/>At 11 years old and 45 pounds now, Kalyana has plenty of light in his eyes and love in his heart. Despite his challenges, including stiff hips that make stairs difficult, he yearns for the warmth of a caring home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love and affection. Kalyana is a true testament to resilience and deserves to spend his remaining time in the comfort of a loving family. <br/><br/>His current foster is caring for an elderly friend & several of her own dogs. She can no longer care for Kalyana, and we are looking for a foster or adopter for his senior years.<br/><br/>Let's give him the care and love he truly deserves.
