Kali's Story
AGE: 9 weeks (as of 3/28/26)
WEIGHT: 12.5 lbs

Kallie is a playful, energetic pup with boundless enthusiasm for life! She loves to climb on logs and balance like a little acrobat—it’s almost like she thinks she’s part cat. Whether she’s running, chasing her littermate, or wrestling, Kallie is always ready for fun.

She’s learning great manners from her 90 lb foster brother and is already starting to respect boundaries when he tells her “no.” Kallie is also very curious about cats—right now she mostly observes them from a distance and gives an occasional “hello” bark, but with time and proper introductions, she could easily become their friend.

Kallie has been sleeping through the night like a champ. She’s still working on potty training but making steady progress. She’s also beginning to learn basic commands like “sit,” “down,” and “come,” and is eager to keep learning.

The K litter's mom Koba came to us pregnant from our rescue partner in Tennessee. They were born on 1/24/26.

HOW TO ADOPT:

THIS dog is NOT in the shelter. For puppies in foster care, you MUST submit an application via EMAIL to smpetfinder@gmail.com. Please note in the email subject which puppy you are interested in.

Go to: http://www.smallmiraclesrescue.org
and click "How to Adopt". There you will find the dog application available for download.

The more information you provide, the faster the process is for all of us. Once you are approved to adopt, we will schedule an appointment to see the puppy in person and you will adopt and take it home that day.

Due to the (usual) speed and ease of our adoption process, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT RIGHT NOW. If you are not ready to adopt within the next couple of days, we totally understand - just wait to apply until you are ready.

Adoption Fees:

Before our dogs are available for adoption, they will always be spayed/neutered, vaccinated (Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Rabies as much as age-appropriate), stool sample checked for parasites, and dewormed.

Adoption fee for our dogs is $375, $40 for a microchip and registration and $25 for a 3 month supply of heartworm preventative, for a TOTAL of $440.
