Kal's Story

Meet Kal
Kal is officially certified as a DGD (Damn Good Dog). It’s a very real and incredibly prestigious title. Don’t bother Googling it, just trust us.

So, what does that mean for him? It means Kal is downright perfect.

Kal is a people-centered guy who loves nothing more than hanging out with his humans. Whether he’s stretched out at your feet or nudging your hand for a few well-earned pets, he’s happiest just being near you. And if you happen to have a free hand? His belly is always open for business.

Kal gets along well with other dogs, though he prefers ones closer to his own size, mostly because small dogs can be a little intimidating. (He’s a big baby at heart.)

He’s fantastically crate trained, his crate is his chill zone, and he’s potty trained with doggy door experience to boot. Just know that when the sun goes down, he might want a buddy to step outside with him… because, well, the dark is kinda scary.

At a solid 100 pounds, Kal is the perfect size for hugging and smooshing your face into. Despite his size, he’s incredibly gentle with no jumping, no counter surfing, just excellent manners. He’s calm, sweet, and friendly. Just an all-around Damn Good Dog.

Sure, he has a habit of walking right behind you (he just likes to stay close… like, really close), but that’s part of his charm.

Kal may be a little older, but he’s still active without being hyper, and in excellent health. He’s ready to share his big heart, soft fur, and goofy love with his forever family.
