Kakadu's Story

**LOCATED IN ANCH/MATSU**
Kakadu
SIX Months Old
Spayed Female
Heeler Mix
Vaccinated
Microchipped

Kakadu is a playful and spunky girl. We don't know what her mix is, but she's a beautiful brindle color. She has lots of energy and loves chasing the older dogs around the yard but forgets she's not quite their size sometimes. She likes to "stalk" and jump out at the other dogs when they're playing fetch or ignoring her. She also does pretty well with puppies and smaller dogs. She hasn't had an accident in the house in a over a month. She is doing well with her manners and sticks to her own bowl at meal time and is gentle taking treats. She knows to fetch a toy, but doesn't always give it to you. Kakadu has not been introduced to cats yet as far as we know. She has met an infant was very curious about the baby and even got concerned when he started crying and wanting to help. She knows basic commands like "in, out, off, down, good girl, and wipe your feet" and is very smart. She also loves to cuddle after playing hard. She is kennel trained when we have to leave her unattended and goes in without issue. She does make some noise when the older dogs start barking and she's in the kennel and cannot see out the window. She spends the night in her bed beside ours and will let us know when she needs to go out.

______________________________________
Adoption fees cover alter, vaccines given in rescue, microchip, medical expenses and ensure we can continue to help other animals in need.
