Meet Kaito!

Kaito is a super sweet 7 year old (approx.) husky mix that came to MAS as a stray. Kaito is very affectionate once he is comfortable but like most huskies he can be a bit nervous around strangers at first so slow introductions would be best for him. We have had Kaito in a foster home for the last few weeks and his foster parents have nothing but good things to say about this handsome boy. He does well meeting people outside first before having them enter the home. Kaito has had a few introductions with other dogs and has done well with other calm, dog friendly dogs. Kaito would do best in an adult only home and with someone experienced with his breed. He walks well on leash, and his foster parents have noted that sometimes he can get a little overstimulated if things get very busy around him. He has had some training done so Kaito knows all the basics and is very happy to work for treats and snacks! He is a fast learner and would probably enjoy going through basic obedience classes to bond with his new owners. He also enjoys being rewarded with head scratches and affection.
